This articulated lamp from the 1950s, manufactured in Germany according to a design by C. Fischer, is an example of post-war functionalism with a distinct industrial character. The entire structure is made of metal: long, slender arms in a shade of matte, faded mint are connected by joints and screws, which remain exposed and emphasize the technical nature of the object. The large lampshade, enamelled in shiny black, contrasts with the matte elements and stands out sharply from the arms in color. The base, massive and round, is also in matte black; its layered structure reveals mechanical fastenings, which reinforces the impression of authenticity. The surface of the arms shows paint chips, scratches, and small rust spots, evidence of its history of use. All details—from proportions to exposed screws—are subordinated to practical function and the logic of industrial aesthetics. The lamp is in good condition, with original signs of aging typical of genuine vintage pieces. The form of the lamp evokes the German factories of the 1950s – it is a tool that does not hide its industrial origins. The matte mint color of the arms intertwines with the black sheen of the shade like an encounter between the routine of work and a flash of light in a workshop space. Exposed screws and mechanical joints form a rhythmic pattern of a tool that has served for decades at a desk, in a studio, or on a table—not for decoration, but for consistent function. The lamp can be paired with a solid wood desk or steel bookcase to emphasize its industrial origins. It is perfect as an accent in a minimalist, loft-style interior, where concrete walls, brick, or solid wood will provide a backdrop for its authentic signs of use. The mint green arms go well with modern textiles in dark colors, and the proximity of graphics or designer LED lighting will accentuate the raw character of the lamp. The lamp is equipped with new electrical wiring. The height of the presented item is approximately 53 cm, and the diameter of the base is 18 cm. The entire lamp is made of metal, without any plastic or textiles. Adjustment mechanisms are visible, allowing for precise positioning of the light at the desired height.
