Antique Arts & Crafts Hand-Hammered Copper Urn with Riveted Seams, c. 1890–1915
Exceptional antique hand-hammered copper urn dating to the late 19th–early 20th century, produced during the Arts & Crafts era and influenced by Middle Eastern Revival design.
This substantial vessel features traditional hand-riveted vertical seams, an applied copper base plate, rope-twist rolled rim, and applied geometric copper panels. The form is balanced and architectural, with gracefully curved shoulders and integrated side handles. All construction elements are consistent with period workshop craftsmanship rather than later decorative reproductions.
