Authentic Knoll International Barcelona chair in black leather, purchased new from Knoll in 1987 by the original owner and held in the family since. This is a genuine Knoll production—not a reproduction—and retains its original Knoll International upholstery label.
Designed by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, the Barcelona chair is one of the most iconic works of modernist furniture design. This example features hand-tufted black leather cushions, thick saddle-leather straps, and a mirror-polished stainless-steel frame consistent with Knoll production from the late 1980s.
A strong, well-documented example with excellent provenance, ideal for collectors or design-forward interiors.
