Kitagawa Utamaro (1753 - 1806), Japanese woodblock print titled Woman Reading a Letter, known in Japanese as Fumi yomu onna. It is part of the series Ten Classes of Women's Physiognomy (Fujo ninso juppon). Originally created during Japan's Edo period around 1795-98. This is a mid 20th century print with publisher stamp at back.
Unframed, gently attached to matte with acid free tape at left rim.
