This Signed Orient & Flume Flower Art Glass Paperweight from 1979 features beautiful iridescent blue and purple colors. The pulled feather style they're known for, with a slight Millefiori center with yellow and white in the traditional floral-like pattern. When looking on Orient & Flume's website it said a similar pattern was called a shield, but I think it looks more like an exotic orchid or an odd shaped spider. That's the wonderful thing about art pieces such as this, you can look at the beauty of it how you choose. Perfect for collectors of art glass, this original paperweight showcases the intricate artistry of glassmaking during the 1970s.
