Stock, published on Feb 2nd, 1883 by G.P. McQueen and hand colored by W. Shayer artwork that is unframed with light damage, all that could most likely be repaired by a professional or reframed as is. This stunning antique is hard to come by, especially in this size at 29" x 21". There is some visible marks from where the artwork got damaged, due to the framing it was in, that was broken. The marks around the main image is marking left from its old mat. That could be hidden by getting it reframed with a new mat as well. The back is brown paper is the left over cardboard from its original framing as well. Overall, this piece is stunning and the perfect additional to any antique lovers home, especially one that decorates in a grandmillennial style. The hunting scene shows men on horses, chasing after their prey with their hunting dogs, while one horse jumps over a river, and men on horses come chasing from the woods to follow, to set off in the big open field.
