We are selling this nice 18th century English portrait of a gentleman. This painting is executed in oil on canvas and features a gentleman in green suit posed in a natural landscape. The painting inscription incised on wood stretcher on verso as possibly Henry James Haskell and dated Dec 14 17--. We have another painting of a lady probably by the same artist and at the same time.
Condition: Good general antique condition with appropriate wear. Has been re-lined.
