This stunning Asian-inspired Cox Manufacturing settee makes the perfect accent piece for a bedroom or hallway, or as seating in a walk-in closet.
Crafted in the US by Cox Manufacturing of Hickory NC, this wood and upholstered settee was custom made using a fine, seafoam-colored fabric, woven with Southeast Asian/tropical scenes of palm trees, animals and people.
The solid wood legs have an Asian motif.
This is an excellent example of fine American furniture craftsmanship, which is becoming more and more difficult to source.
It is in excellent condition, having been used solely as a bedroom accent piece since new.

Sadly, Cox Manufacturing, a North Carolina-based company specializing in upholstered furniture, shut down unexpectedly in June 2023, after over 90 years in business.
Before their closure, Cox Manufacturing was known for the following features in their upholstered pieces:
