This striking large-scale wall sculpture by Jon Gilmore captures the bold, surreal spirit of 1980s postmodern design. Born in Long Beach, California, Gilmore launched his career in 1975 with modern clocks and wall décor, before joining Accessory Art Studios in California from 1978 through 1994. During the mid-1980s, he created some of his most distinctive works, including this dramatic abstract female figure rendered in shimmering metallic aluminum with layered, flowing contours and optical depth.
