Wrapped in serpent inner and outer minor borders. A period correct painted rug in an unusual and broad range of colors. There is a very similar twin to this rug which, unfortunately, has extensive damage but is available - item number 13084. Colors and shades include: Cherry red, brick red, navy blue, sky blue, powder blue, lime green, gold, pale tangerine orange, coffee brown, and more. Condition notes: Mostly even short pile across. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Minor reduction to one end. Small signs of old moth nibbles.
