Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. One end measures 1'9 whereas the opposing measures 1'11. This variation is within normal margins for hand knotted rugs of this type, age, and size. The tips of the wool show oxidization and patina whereas the roots are deeper in saturation and tone. For processing purposes, this and other rugs of the type may have painted numbers on the reverse side.
