A classic Veramin weaving with high level, detailed, roundel interconnecting vines and lattice oriented floral top views with central palmettes in diagonal orientation and starburst minor accent flowers. Main border in an intricate Turtle Samovar and clear mahi-mahi Herati rendering with fish details and lotus flowers therein. Colors and shades include: Sapphire blue, indigo blue, black cherry red, ivory, blush, powder blue, copper, dark chocolate brown, emerald green, dusty teal, and more. Condition notes: Large areas of foundation showing through with wear across to knot heads. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Carpet has a split on one end that will be mended before shipping. Multiple repairs in varying degrees of expertise. One end measures 6'7 whereas the opposing measures 7'5. This variation is within normal margins for hand knotted rugs of this type, age, and size.
