This is a great piece. I just bought this and some other of the mid 1980s abstract work of well listed boston artist, pat monson. For those not familiar with the artist, I have included her biography below. This is really an incredible period 1980s work. A wonderful combination of painted paper made into a larger collage on a paper backing. The image measures 33 x 23 inches and is in outstanding condition. Really as it was created. Signed and dated lower right and titled lower left in pencil. Stunning composition and depth to the work. Work is hinged to a backing and is photographed with a matte over just for the photos. It will be shipped without those. Really ready for framing. A stunning original 1980s work of art. Do your research on the artist. There is a similar example of the artist's work coming to auction for one of the major boston art schools estimated at 6-10x what I am asking. Dont miss this chance.
For those not familiar with the artist, her biography from an institution who is offering some of the artist's work reads: "prior to beginning her career as a professional artist, pat monson received her rn from the university of minnesota. After moving to boston in the early 1980s, she began exploring her interest in fine arts. She attended tufts university, where she received her bachelor and master of fine arts degrees, and the school of the museum of fine arts, boston, where she earned her fifth year certificate. She spent several years teaching courses on drawing and water-based paint at tufts university and the school of the museum of fine arts. She was a recipient of the pratt fourth international print exhibition, purchase award, clarissa bartlett traveling scholarship, and alumni award. Pat monoson's work is held in a number of corporate and private collections."

Orders where Free Local Pickup or Seller Managed Local Delivery were selected:
- Upon inspection, If you decide not to move forward with the purchase, you or your agent must refuse the item at the time of pickup/delivery from the seller
