This is an Arco Table Top Lamp made in the style designed by Pierre-Giacomo & Achille Castiglioni. This lamps versatility, craftsman-ship and "drop dead good looks" are bar to none. Its cantilevered chrome dome is attached to a genuine alabaster colored marble base. The lamp itself weighs approx. 23 pounds!
Purchased from the previous owner; I myself have enjoyed using this lamp for over 20 years. I have not made any repairs or updates to this lamp, which is reflected in its price. The lamp is not mint but it is in very good condition. The chrome has some light wear but no dings or dents. The marble base has no chips or stains. As pictured above, I removed the piece of felt attached to the bottom of the marble since it was loose and worn. The original wiring works but I highly recommend having it replaced since it is old.
Lastly...the chrome could use a good polish.
