It is a pioneering example of … Read more A fabulous mid-century sectional attributed to Harvey Probber likely from the Nuclear Sert series. It is a pioneering example of modular furniture. This unit is in 2 pieces. It is very generous in size. According to the family that originally purchased it in the 1950's they had it custom made by Probber for their new mid-century home. They reupholstered it 1x in the 1980s (when they assume the original labels were lost). Since then one of the cushions was damaged leaving a hole. The piece is solid but it will require reupholstery. It is the perfect blank canvas for an Interior Designer.

The sectional comes in 2 pieces. One is a simple rectangle. Its dimensions are: 61"W x 32.5"D (in total) x 28.5" H (at top of seat back). Seat height is 17". Seat depth is 22".

The other piece is larger and has 2 angles (I attached a photo of the dimensions on each piece). One side is 27.5" w @ the back. 40"W in the center section (@ the back) and 83.5"W on the long end (@ the back). The interior dimensions are shorter (see attached image with all the measurements). Seat height is 17", seat depth is 22". On this piece of the sectional the seat back (on the 83.5" long part) does not run the full length. See less
