Hand-carved West African mask featuring a striking double-faced form, tall vertical horned elements, and an integrated raffia fiber headdress. The mask is carved from solid wood and retains areas of worn original pigment, with applied cowrie shell elements and incised geometric detailing throughout.
The sculptural vocabulary, materials, and construction are consistent with ceremonial masks produced in regions of Mali and Burkina Faso, often associated with Dogon, Senufo, or Bamana traditions. Exact cultural attribution is not documented.
