Beautiful oil painting on canvas, depicting the Princes' Canal in Amsterdam, one of the city's three most important canals, with a bell tower at the back and boats. Signed lower left by "G. Winkelberg," it is framed and executed in a post-impressionist style. The artistic quality of the painting is excellent; note the excellent depth and luminosity. The painting dates back to around 1940-1950. This piece has an attribution mark,
