Created by daniel albert harris, an artist born in new york in 1914 and died in rome in 1987, who signed all his works with the capital acronym "zev." titled "man on moon," the work dates to the second half of the 20th century.

daniel albert harris (aka zev) (1914–1986) studied at the masters institute of the roerich museum in hungary, at the national academy of design in new york city, and at new york university, where he also taught for two years. His artistic talent was discovered by grace mccann morley in california in the early 1940s, who invited him to exhibit at the "abstract & surrealist art in america" ​​exhibition at the san francisco museum of art in 1944. Harris changed his name to zev, meaning "wolf" in hungarian, when he moved to europe in 1953. He went first to paris, then to spain, where he created enormous sculptures for an important spanish villa. He then moved to rome, where he died in 1984. This piece has an attribution mark,
