These chairs have metal frames that are chrome plated and made of metal tubes, with a black t-shaped frame holding them together. The chairs also have seats made of amazing cognac leather that has a beautiful patinated look. The leather is still strong and feels great to sit on. These chairs are famous because they have multiple t-shapes in them, which is why they’re called t-chairs. The leather sling seats are attached at three spots – the back and both sides – and they are clamped between the horizontal part of the t. If you look closely at the black part of the frame, you can see another t shape. These chairs are not easy to find in their original condition, which makes them even more special. The t-chairs by katavolos, littell, and kelley are a wonderful example of creative design that’s both comfortable and stylish. Priced and sold in a set of 6. The leather is reconditioned with a leather care product special for vintage leather. To give the leather some strength, colour, and protection again after many years of usage. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
