A work that bears the breath of time: its condition is fair, with signs of aging that seem to become part of its story.
A very small flaw on the right foot.
Height: 56 cm.

Ceccardi, an artist no longer with us, was able to give form to visions suspended between myth and reality. In this sculpture, the mermaid emerges in her metamorphosis, captured in an instant of transformation that seems alive and vibrant. The surface is wrapped in a soft patina, and the pale color hints at a whisper, allowing the piece to blend in with any setting, bringing with it a touch of mystery and poetry.

Note: All the works remaining in the workshop of ceramist and sculptor Edoardo Ceccardi, who passed away in 2000, were donated to the Municipality of Santa Margherita Ligure, along with molds, ceramics, and the kilns used to fire the clay. Ceccardi worked in the city from 1962 until his death, leaving a significant artistic and educational contribution to the area.
