Arnaldo Giannelli, sculptor and founder of the Egregia company.

The original models for the sculptures were created by Cav. Arnaldo Giannelli, founder of the company.

Born in Volterra in 1907, he was a promising student of sculpture from an early age, earning a degree from the "Royal School of Art." In 1944, he opened his own studio, producing objects commissioned by the Allied Forces.

For his professional work, Arnaldo Giannelli was awarded the title of "Cavaliere della Repubblica" (Knight of the Republic) in 1970.

Over 40 years of operation, the company has undergone several transformations to meet changing market demands and to update and improve its production systems, while always remaining faithful to the traditional Italian artisanal process. Each piece is completely hand-finished, and any minor differences between pieces do not diminish their value but, rather, are a testament to their craftsmanship. This piece has an attribution mark,
