The form combines the simplified silhouettes of a man and a woman – elongated, abstract figures with oval heads and arms and legs tapering downwards. The color background is a cool blue shade, whose smooth, seamless surface reflects light and emphasizes the fluidity of the contours. Geometric accents of navy blue and black highlight the stylized pattern of the clothing, and subtle differences in tone divide the form into volume and detail. The back of the figurine has been flattened, allowing it to be hung on the wall in accordance with the decorative ceramics practice of the era.
