This listing features a pair of studio art glass paperweights, offered together as a set. While both pieces are signed and dated, the artist signatures are not fully legible, suggesting individual studio production rather than commercial manufacture.
The smaller spherical paperweight, dated 1980, features an intricate swirling surface pattern with subtle iridescence and strong graphic contrast. The larger freeform paperweight, dated 1996, has a softly flattened shape with flowing black striping set beneath a muted, luminous surface.
Though created sixteen years apart, the two pieces complement one another through their shared use of pattern, movement, and restrained color. Together, they make an appealing display for collectors of American studio glass or as sculptural decorative objects for shelves, desks, or tables.
