Fragment of a Romanesque marble cornice - 13th century.
The fragment features a sculpted decoration with stylized plant motifs that may resemble acanthus leaves, arranged in spirals and intersected by rounded shapes that may represent stylized buds. The decorative style is classical Romanesque, in which the use of white marble for monuments was very common.
