Designed by Dansk chief designer Jens Quistgaard, this pan shows the maker's stamp "Dansk Design Denmark" on the bottom. Mid-century modern Dansk cookware is internationally known for its sculptural and functional design. With clean lines, bold colors, and stylish forms Dansk Kobenstyle was very popular and manufactured internationally in the late 1960s and 1970s. Features include distinctive three-part curved handles pinpoint welded to reduce heat and four stem lid handles that function as trivets. Dansk Design Denmark is collected by major museums, and Quistgaard’s industrial design work and sculptures have won several international awards. See less
