The ivory-toned alabaster with natural internal grain lends the piece a sculptural presence and a warm glow.

The structure is enhanced by finely crafted brass side handles with stylized zoomorphic motifs reminiscent of swans or mythological creatures, typical of Italian neoclassical style. The base rests on a square alabaster plinth with brass claw feet, enhancing its stability and decorative character.

The lamp features three light sources:
– a central lamp holder for a main bulb
– two lateral candle-style lamp holders

This configuration recalls the historic oil lamps, later electrified, which were widespread in mid-20th-century Italian furnishings.

The white fabric lampshade is a recent addition, handmade in Florence by a renowned artisan workshop specializing in high-quality lampshades. The lampshade comes with a certificate of authenticity.
