Item :
A magnificent, large bowl with a scalloped mouth, made of blue glass, obtained by adding cobalt oxides. The entire bowl is worked to create vertical bands with bas-relief panels, supported by a large stem and a clear glass base. It was made by the renowned Florentine glassworks of Empoli in the second half of the 20th century. The light reflections on the bas-relief are particularly exquisite, creating dark blue lines between larger areas of light blue and other pale blue areas as the angle of the light changes, creating a visually striking play of light.
