The tallboy is in excellent clean condition, and has been refinished at some time in the past, and since been well looked after. The tallboy has contrasting ebonised handles and stepped plinth.

There are a couple of marks to note, one on the left hand side, and one to the front of the left hand door at the bottom. Please refer to the photographs. A later catch has been added to the left hand door, and a small round hole to the back, which has been neatly covered with a piece of ply to the rear. When the latch is used, the doors close flush.

The interior has four shelved open compartments with a drawer to one side, and two larger shelves to the other. These two large shelves can be removed and a coat rail (present) can be used instead if required. Originally there were three shelves, the lower one is now missing. There is a button on one of the handles. This does not work anymore.

Free from any damage or woodworm. Veneered in figured walnut. See less
