1920s, Kinkozan Tsukuru Satsuma, Hand Painted Dragon Dragonware Tea Set- 15 Pieces
Set is beautifully moriage hand painted with intricately detailed raised slip bead and trail features with enamel beading and heavy gold overlay. Each container has a beautiful bulging dragon body wrapper around the top and sides leading to the dragon head on the lid. Every piece is marked or signed on the bottom with Satsuma Kinkozan Tsukuru family crest.
Some crazing to the glaze surface which is consistent with age and happens to all pieces from this time period. Pictures are considered part of so please zoom in and look close to see the best details of its condition.
