Dimensions per piece: height 36 cm, width 7.5 cm, depth 4 cm.

Each geisha is individually made, with carefully shaped hairstyles, delicate hair ornaments, and richly decorated kimono in deep tones such as indigo, red, green, and gold. The kimono are created from printed and gilded paper with floral motifs, showing beautiful texture and relief. Details like fans, accessories, and layered fabrics give the figures a strong presence and an almost sculptural character.

The background panels are finished in light-toned paper with a subtle sheen and fine speckling, framed by a slim border. Together, the five panels form a harmonious set, but they can also be displayed individually — for example as a vertical series on the wall, or arranged separately in a cabinet or display case.

The set is in beautiful vintage condition, with normal signs of age. Light foxing and minor discoloration appear on some panels and are part of the piece’s authenticity. Please refer to the photos for a clear view of the details and overall condition. See less
