Exceptionally elegant Art Nouveau display cabinet from around 1910, slenderly proportioned, expertly crafted, and with a striking presence. This cabinet is a prime example of Art Nouveau design from around 1910. The clear, tall rectangular form, the gently curved glass door, and the subtly crafted decorative elements represent a calm, refined aesthetic. The year mentioned refers to the period and is not the exact year of manufacture. Made of high-quality oak veneer, the piece was lacquered black and then traditionally shellac-finished.
