A timeless and very comfortable sofa designed by Andre vanden Beuck. The two-seater is in excellent condition. We also have the armchair for sale. André Vandenbeuck (1931 - ) is a French designer. His Unica armchair and Unica chaise longue models are in the permanent collection of the Musée des Arts Décoratifs Paris. from 1965 to 1999, André Vandenbeuck designed seating exclusively for Strässle. Strässle International was a prestigious Swiss furniture manufacturer, famous in the mid-20th century for its high-quality, designer items, particularly its iconic armchairs and seating, which collaborated with renowned designers such as Paul Tuttle, André Vandenbeuck, and Hans Eichenberger, known for creations such as the “Nonna” rocking chair and the ‘Aluline’ and “Zeta” armchairs, which combined comfort, innovative materials, and Space Age aesthetics.
