Zanotta's Albero is an iconic plant stand designed by Achille Castiglioni in 1983. A sculptural, lightweight, and dynamic object, conceived to display indoor plants in a functional yet aesthetically refined way.
Its structure is made of durable blue-painted steel. The circular trays, with their logo imprinted under the base, are plant stands made of black polyamide.
Each tray rotates 120°, allowing for customization and optimal exposure of plants to natural light.
Inspired by Castiglioni's philosophy—"a good design is not born from the ambition to leave a mark, but from the desire to create an exchange with the object's unknown user"—Albero becomes a character in its own right within the space: a lightweight tripod, almost an organism that inhabits the room.
