Offering a rare pair of vintage rattan dining chairs by luxury brand McGuire of San Francisco. Crafted with the superior design McGuire is known for, these director’s style armchairs feature caned backs, rawhide bindings throughout, wide seats and thick rattan poles in a warm sandy color. The comfortable ergonomic seat back has a double caned wall. They have been thoroughly cleaned and reupholstered using a textured Sunbrella performance fabric in a beautiful blue color. A gorgeous example of California organic modern style- this set has a very “70s chic” vibe and all ready for the next owners to enjoy for decades to come! McGuire makers plaque on bottom of each chair. This set is also marked with the pearl "M" on the back of the seat frames, signifying McGuire's highest level of craftmanship.

The rattan is in excellent condition, the rawhide bindings are complete & intact and show minor color differences from age/use. The caning on the seat backs is double walled and in 10/10 condition- there all no breaks, tears, etc. The original caning underneath the newly attached upholstered seats shows slight separation in the middle. Not noticeable because it’s underneath, but wanted to mention. less
