This large antique Chinese celadon porcelain wash basin with slip decoration is a rare and exquisite piece from the early 19th century.
The center contains three peaches (presenting longevity) surrounded by five bats (representing blessing); the upper layer is decorated with four treasures derived from Buddhism; and the top layer is decorated with flowers.
Age: Around early to mid-19th century (Qianlong or Jiaqing)
