Attributed to Hooker Furniture, this table features an oversized 24.5-inch diameter, offering nearly double the surface area of standard French-style accent tables. Its generous proportions allow it to serve as a high-end nightstand, a formal entry center table, or a substantial end table for a large-scale sofa.
The piece is masterfully crafted from solid hardwood with a rich mahogany finish. The apron is adorned with intricate gothic arch carvings and classic rosette corner blocks, hallmark details of Hooker’s traditional collections. The fluted Neoclassical legs are joined by a dramatic, curved X-stretcher featuring a hand-carved central finial for added architectural interest and structural stability. The inset white marble top is in excellent condition, showcasing natural grey veining that perfectly complements the warmth of the wood.
