Set on a minimalist black steel base. It’s all in the details. Full dimensions; 27″ wide at the top x 14” wide at the bottom x 10.5” deep. The base is 15.5″ wide x 12″ deep x 36” high. This beautiful piece of art was hand made in the spirit of Wabi-Sabi, a Japanese philosophy that beauty can be found in imperfection and impermanence. It is a beauty of things modest and humble. A beauty of things unconventional. It is the opposite of vulgarity. The costs of achieving this kind of minimalism are seemingly inconsistent with its mission of aesthetic humility.
