This is a solid wood piece with warm, old-office character that simply can’t be reproduced. Both drawers have sturdy solid brass pull handles, & if you wanted even more authentic industrial appeal, just read the company’s label plates: “Writings / Card Boards / Blottings” on the top drawer, along with “Book Papers / Cover Papers / Miscellaneous” on the bottom one.

Built with real-deal joinery (which can be seen in the dovetail construction on the drawer sides), as well as interior dividers that were most likely used for organizing paper stock. The wood grain pops beautifully across the top, with honest wear, scuffs, plus patina that fits its age. This piece is perfect as a functional desktop file, studio organizer, or a charming industrial décor piece with vintage authenticity. See less
