(American 1910 - 1984) artist Howard Bobbs. Painted this oil landscape on board and titled it “Sunday Afternoon, Chimayo", It is signed on the back of the painting and handsomely framed in a wood molding. Measuring overall 18” high X 22” wide.
Bobbs was a prolific and important artist who is highly collected. The Providence of this work of art was it was acquired in the 1970’s directly from the artists studio in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
