This exceptional, antique Victorian-era Secretary Desk, dating from c. 1870–1890, is a

sophisticated two-piece unit featuring superior craftsmanship, including highly desirable

Pin and Cove joinery on the drawers; the upper cabinet showcases Original Wavy Glass in

the arched doors include two adjustable shelves with plate grooves supported by

Sawtooth or Bird's Mouth shelf supports; the central fall-front reveals a dedicated writing

area with a leather writing surface, fitted interior drawers, and pigeonholes; and the base

provides substantial concealed storage behind two solid paneled doors with utility drawers

above them, complete with its Original Key.
