M. and Made in Italy. While pewter often evokes antique designs, this piece is styled with a sleek, contemporary aesthetic that dates it to the 1980s. The piece features a striking, bold design characterized by an exterior surface that is heavily textured with a uniform, repeating pattern of overlapping scales (sometimes called fish scale texture).
