Item :
A stunning wall vase, planter, in majolica ceramic, hand-shaped on a lathe, then hand-decorated and glazed, signed on the back by the artist Vincenzo Solimene and labeled "Italy" as being made, dating to the first half of the 20th century. Note the unique decoration with a view of Amalfi and a particular hotel, whose name we unfortunately do not know, but which certainly existed and was very similar to the one depicted on the planter. The material is extremely hard and compact, as is the glaze, with a beautiful antique patina and an antique mark, the first used by the manufacturer, most likely made by one of the great German masters who collaborated with C.A.S., such as Dolker, Kowaliska, or even Gambone.
