It is distinguished by its beautiful veneer of warm cherry wood, crafted on a softwood frame. The classic design, with three large drawers at the bottom and a slanted writing flap, is typical of the Biedermeier period.

Behind the writing flap lies an elaborately designed interior with a central niche and six smaller drawers, providing ample space for writing implements and documents. The front is adorned with simple, period-appropriate brass fittings.
