The generously sized top is made from wide, old planks beautifully patinated over time, showing pronounced grain and authentic signs of use that give the piece a strong vernacular character. The edges remain straight, without excessive softening, in keeping with the functional simplicity of traditional rural furniture.

The apron is sober and robust, supporting a slightly overhanging tabletop. The base consists of four straight, sturdy legs, connected by the original system of lateral and diagonal stretchers—typical of farmhouse tables designed for durability and everyday use. This triangulated structure provides excellent stability and reflects the practical construction methods of rural cabinetmakers at the turn of the 20th century.
