It comes from GG Leykauf, a Nuremberg department store owned by the steelware manufacturer Georg Leykauf. They produced these items themselves, based on their own designs and those of artists, and offered them in their arts and crafts store. The planter features a lavish design with lion heads, exquisitely crafted lion's feet, and handles shaped like mythical creatures. See less
