Sculpted directly from branches, it features an almost zoomorphic silhouette: the three legs suggest a creature in motion, as if the lamp were taking a step forward.

The olive wood, known for its dense and richly figured grain, has been worked in harmony with its natural curves. The surface displays a warm, time-earned patina, with the original polish highlighting the wood’s swirling grain and tonal variations.

A significant level of period craftsmanship was required to integrate the electrical wiring within the body of the piece. The wood was carefully hollowed to conceal the cable while preserving its structural integrity. This technical achievement reflects the skill of Provençal artisans of the 1970s, capable of transforming a raw natural element into a luminous object that is both sculptural and functional.
