This wall lamp is a fixture from the Boom collection, manufactured by Bega in Germany during the 1970s. The design features a geometric, black lacquered metal arm, that supports a spherical glass diffuser. The shade is made from smoked glass with a "seeded" bubble texture, a technique that introduces air bubbles into the glass during production. This texture softens the light source behind it. Originally designed as an outdoor fixture, the construction is durable, but the modernist aesthetic also suits interior applications. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker.
