Sculptural light no. 131 by milla vaahtera dimensions: d 50 x w 90 x h 75 cm materials: handblown glass, handcrafted brass. Sculptural lights are handmade light fixtures that function as both lighting and standalone works of art. Each piece is first and foremost a sculpture — the light is an integral, yet secondary, component of its presence. The glass elements are crafted in collaboration with skilled glassblowers in nuutajärvi glass village, a historic center of finnish glassmaking. The metalwork is produced by milla vaahtera and her team in porvoo, finland. this piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
