A striking set of four antique Victorian carved oak dining chairs each displaying superb depth of carving and strong architectural presence. The richly sculpted scrollwork, pierced details and finely turned uprights showcase an impressive level of craftsmanship typical of the mid-19th century.
The tall backs are inset with pale damask panels that contrast beautifully with the dark oak frames creating a refined and inviting look. Each chair features a broad, comfortable seat framed with carved edging supported by shaped front legs and united by decorative stretchers. Their proportions and solidity make them ideal for use around a dining table, while still offering versatility elsewhere in the home.
These chairs bring drama, character and period elegance to any dining room making them perfect for those seeking distinguished antique seating.
