The chest was made by 'Vesper' and is … Read more A modestly sized chest of drawers dating to the mid 20th Century.

The chest was made by 'Vesper' and is simply styled, similar in design to chests made by Heals in the same era.

It is made of oak, veneers and oak plywood and is a classic vintage piece which will suit many interior styles.

The front is fitted with four drawers which are finished with simple block handles, the drawers run well and the interiors are in clean condition.

The chest has been sympathetically restored in our workshop, the wood has been gently sanded to remove the tired finish and waxed. The drawers have been darkly waxed which contrasts against the paler main body, sides and top of the chest.

The finish is very smooth and tactile and quite matt.

CONDITION

The chest is generally in solid structural condition with various small cosmetic marks of age and use.
